Many people dream of being the next successful Titan of Industry. Entrepreneurs get to be their own boss, set their own schedules, and control their own destiny. However, if you have ever actually tried becoming an entrepreneur, you may have realized it is not as easy as you thought. Instead of jumping in feet first, knowing how to respect this decision — and your respective endeavor — will help you in your entrepreneurial spirit.

Never Quit

Once you have decided to fully follow your passion, it is important that you learn to roll with the punches. Bob Parsons, the founder of, has 16 rules that every person must follow in order to become successful in their business. Rule #2 is to “Never Give Up.” Bob Parsons believes that this is one of the most important rules to follow. He also points out that if what you were going after was so easy, everyone would be doing the same thing. If everyone was doing the same thing, you wouldn’t have the opportunity that you do.

Everyone wants to quit at some point, but those that do never reach the level of the success that they desire.

Donald Trump is another hugely successful entrepreneur that vows by the rule of never giving up or quitting. If you have ever seen “The Apprentice,” it is no secret that quitters don’t really bode well around him. According to One Powerful World, Donald Trump feels that some of the most intelligent people in the world never reach their full potential because they end up throwing in the towel when things get hard.

Follow Your Passion

If you are not sure of what your passion is, you need to spend some time mapping that out. If you are not truly passionate about something, you will not do whatever it takes to see it be successful. Just look at Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook. According to the Strategic Business Team he is the youngest billionaire on the planet. He has always been passionate about connecting the world through technology, and he was willing to do anything to see it happen.

The Business Insider points out that not only do you need to follow your passion, you need to go all in. You cannot be successful with one foot in and one foot out. Many people are afraid to go all in due to financial commitments. However, there are plenty of people that are not afraid to go all in that are working on the same ideas you are. Mark Zuckerberg was not afraid to go all in. After all, he quit Harvard to make Facebook a reality. If he had graduated Harvard before pursuing his dreams, the opportunity would have passed him by.

With the advent of social media and digital networking, getting your name out there is more possible than ever. Get your plans down and start reaching out.
